			<description><![CDATA[<p><img src='http://www.aldersonfuneralhomes.com/include/storage/thumb.php?edgeFade=4&amp;imgName=26896/DeathRecordStub/1588260/Petrillo%2C_Beverly.jpg&amp;imgWidth=72&amp;imgWidth=120' align='left' hspace='8'>CHESHIRE - Beverly Petrillo, 70, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.  She was the wife of William Petrillo.

Mrs. Petrillo was born July 16, 1942 in New Haven, the daughter of the late Anthony and Violet (Carlstrom) Gargiulo.  Mrs. Petrillo attended Wilbur Cross High School and graduated with a Masters Degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University.  She was a Clinical Psychologist for Catholic Family Services while living in Phoenix.  Upon her return to CT, she was employed by the state where she worked at River Valley Services until her retirement in 2002.  She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as traveling.  She was a very caring individual with a big heart.

Besides her husband of 50 years, Mrs. Petrillo is survived by her daughter Karen LaTorraca and her husband Henry of Cheshire; her brother Anthony Gargiulo of Madison; her niece, Alyssa Gargiulo  and her husband Keith Zackowitz of Madison; her nephews Brian Gargiulo of CO and James Curnane of Orange.  She is predeceased by her sister Dolores Curnane; her sister-in-law Barbara Gargiulo; and her grandson Nicholas LaTorraca.

Arrangements – A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 24, 2013 at 10:00 at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire.  Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in All Saints Cemetery and there are no calling hours.  The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. is assisting with arrangements. She was the daughter of Robert Diaz and Margarita Irizarry.

She was born December 9, 1994.

Besides her parents she is survived by a brother Robert Diaz Jr. of Waterbury.

Arrangements- A wake for Rosemary will be held Wednesday May 22, 2013 from 5 to 7 P.M at The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p><img src='http://www.aldersonfuneralhomes.com/include/storage/thumb.php?edgeFade=4&amp;imgName=26896/DeathRecordStub/1588169/Diaz%2C_Gloria.jpg&amp;imgWidth=72&amp;imgWidth=120' align='left' hspace='8'>WATERBURY- Gloria Diaz , 79 , beloved wife of the late Abimael Diaz , departed this life on  May 15, 2013 ,after fighting a long battle with cancer.

Gloria was born on March 3,1934 in Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Antonio  Perez and the late Patria Felecita Perez -Lopez. Gloria worked for many years as a nurse’s aide in the Waterbury area, in numerous health care facilities. She was an active member of the Waterbury Hall of Jehovah Witness.

She will be sadly missed by her 10 children : Urbano Velez and his wife Susan, Elson Diaz ,Tomas Diaz, Abimael Diaz Jr., Walter Diaz and his wife Maritza, Jerry Diaz and his wife Christina, Steven Diaz Eliezar Diaz , Bruce Diaz and Anthony Diaz and his wife Annie. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 11 great - grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 sisters , Carmen Perez from Puerto Rico and Malen Perez  also from Puerto Rico.

The family would like to thank Dr. Joseph Bowen and the staff at the Harold Leever Cancer Center. They would like to also acknowledge Waterbury V.N.A ,especially Bridgette, Angelica, Cindy and Nina, ass well as Alexis with Almost Family. A special thank you to all the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital - O’Brien 7 for their care and compassion through the years. In addition ,the family would like to thank the staff at Village Green of Waterbury.
      
All services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be private at the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers ,the family asks that donations be sent to The Harold Leever Cancer Center, 1075 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, 06708.</p>]]></description>

			<title>Philip Coyle Jr.</title>

Coyle Jr. went peacefully to his reward on May 8, 2013 at his home accompanied by his health care aids.

He was the first born child of Philip T. Coyle Sr. and Hannah R. Coyle on Tophet Road in Roxbury. He graduated from Painter Hill Grammar School, and Booth Free High School in Roxbury. After helping in construction of The Roxbury Market building he trained as an Automobile Mechanic in Waterbury and served three and half years in the Army Air Corps in World War II, rising to Tech. Sargent in Aircraft Maintenance Specialty, he served in the Panama Canal Zone.

After his military service he was employed by CR&L Lines in Waterbury maintaining buses and managing the New Britain maintenance facility. After the demise of CR&L he developed and managed the maintenance operation for Northeast Transportation in Waterbury which became CT Transit.

Philip was preleased by his wife Jessie, three brothers; Donald of Bridgewater, David of Hartford, and John of Roxbury. He is survived by his brother Terrence of Prospect and two sisters; Eileen Piskura of Roxbury, and Annabelle Lynn of Watertown. He also leaves seven nephews, five nieces, seven grand nephews, fifteen grand nieces, one great grandnephew, and two great grandnieces.

Arrangements- Philip’s funeral will be held 10:15 A.M Saturday May 11, 2013 from The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710 to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 16 Church St  Waterbury, CT 06702 for a service at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday May 10, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M at the funeral home. Donations in his name may be made to St. John’s Church Memorial Fund, 16 Church St  Waterbury, CT 06702.</p>]]></description>

Scinto passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born September 9, 1947 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late David and Irene (Imrischak) Louis.  She worked for AT&T for over 20 years, retiring in 2008 as an Administrative Assistant.  She was a kind loving person that always celebrated the important days in her family and friends lives.  Her priority was taking care of her family especially her children.  She enjoyed traveling to warm weather and beach locations.

Besides her husband of 43 years, Maryann is survived by her daughter Alicia C. DiSorbo (Anthony) of Cheshire; her son Bryan P. Scinto of Cheshire; her sister Donna Louis (John) of Milford; her in-laws, Daniel and Linda Scinto of Huntington; her granddaughter, Carina DiSorbo; as well as several nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her sister Kathy Staron (Ron) of Huntington.  The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Yale Smilow Cancer Center for their devoted care.

Arrangements – Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, 9:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget’s Church, Cheshire for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 14 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was the husband of Barbara (Hummel) Schumann.
Mr. Schumann was born January 20, 1928 in Meriden, the son of the late Frederick and Rose (Greenbacker) Schumann.  Before moving to Berlin, he was a longtime resident of Meriden who enjoyed boating in Saybrook; traveling and had spent most of his winters in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  His life was his family.
Besides his wife, Mr. Schumann is survived by his Step-sons Ronald Scheyd and his wife Kris, Richard Scheyd and his wife Amanda, and Joseph Scheyd and his wife Sally all of Berlin, Andrew Vignola Jr. and his wife Laurie of Wallingford and Robert Vignola and his wife Kristen of Cheshire; his step-daughter Ellen Peterson and her husband Mark of Newington; his grandchildren Kristen LeVesque and her husband Roger, Steven and his wife Kim, Ron Jr., John, Michael, Alyssia, Kyle, Matthew, Christopher, Jennifer, Elizabeth and David; his great grandchildren Evelyn, Brandon, Sky, Cole; his niece and nephew Cynthia Schumann of Meriden and Richard Schumann of New Britain; as well as his daughter-in-law Susan Scheyd of Newington.  He is predeceased by his Step-son Gary Scheyd.
Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 14, 2013, 10:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. He was born July 21, 1960 in Meriden, son of Ann (Christolini) and the late David Kirychuk.

David was a graduate of Wilcox High School Class of 1978. He was employed as a Machinist at Pratt and Whitney. David was an active member of Grace Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, and also ran the Missions Committee, Growth Group, and Sunday School. He was an avid Skier, and Bowler, and loved riding motorcycles.

He is survived by a son David J. Kirychuk; a daughter Leah Kirychuk of Bethlehem; a brother George and his wife Karen Kirychuk of Glen Bournie, MD; two sisters Shirley and her husband Sergio Rodriguez of Pflugerville, TX, and Mary Henderson of Waterbury.

Arrangements- David’s funeral will be held 9:45 A.M Tuesday May 14, 2013 from The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 to Grace Baptist Church, 55 Country Club Road, Cheshire, 06410 for a service at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery.
